Our Mission
We are Here to Help Individuals, Families, and Communities
Since 2017, GLF’s goal has been to educate people about depression, mental illness, and suicide, reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and provide resources to those in need of mental health treatment.
We achieve these goals through the GLF Care Fund (add link to the Care Fund page) and programming such as the GLF Teen Advisory Board, the North Texas LOSS Team and the Texas-Sized Hope Youth Conference. This fall, we will begin our GRACE Support groups for caregivers of loved ones struggling with their mental health.

Grace's Story...
It is difficult to summarize the life and spirit of Grace Caroline Loncar. She was truly a star that burned out too quickly. A star not because of any celebrity status, but rather she was a bright light amidst darkness.
She used humor, honesty, loyalty and love to bring a unique glow and warmth to the lives of others. She offered acceptance and friendship to those that felt isolated and misunderstood.
Her heart and spirit were tender towards the brokenness of people and this world.
She loved the arts and theatre. As a student at Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Grace played major roles in plays as well as participated as a stage manager, make up artist and costumer. She loved her school and often referred to her fellow thespians and artists as “a basket of wonderfuls”…
